For those of you who are looking at this page and considering coming out to play for the Ohio State Army next season, take note that that little button on the side that says "Join Now" is fairly obsolete.

If you are wanting to learn more about the OSU team, how to join, where we practice, what color Crispy's panties are, you know... whatever, simply hop over to the forums, sign up, and ask away. Our practice times and locations are also always on display on the forums so if you'd like to come out and play with us this summer you'll know where.

The first thing that needs to be accomplished - those who have not yet handed over their $100 for the Xball entry fee need to get that done as soon as humanly possible.

If you have done that already, all you need to worry about is being at my house (42 E. 14th) at 7:30 AM Thursday morning.

Time to go to Atomix and rip some faces off once again friends - last time I was there it was with an Impulse and a revvy

Funny how things change in a year

Here's the deal discussed at the meeting tonight

First off - it looks like we're sending 3 lines to this one, nice

This means however, that due to the extra expenses the sponsors will not be able to cover as much paint as we previously thought - this means standard tourney rules apply, bring enough money for 2 cases of paint ($120) and however much food you plan on eating

Meet up at my place at 5pm sharp on Friday Feb. 10th so we can get up to Michigan at a reasonable hour and maybe have a beer or two before we pass out for our obligatory 2 hours of sleep before the tourney - if you can pack light since gear room will be somewhat cramped

Mansfield kids you're more than welcome to meet us up there but this means your gas bill will not be covered by the sponsors - this is the cruel truth of logistics, however it's only a 2 hours drive or so so it won't be that bad

Practice this weekend will be at PBWorld up in Wellington and I urge everyone who can make it to come so we can get a little time in with our respective teams - see forum post for details

Well this is it - MICT's right around the corner

Ben called and brought up a very good point - if we leave at 2 or 3 we'll be hitting Indianapolis smack in the middle of rush hour which would suck balls

So leaving time has moved from 2pm Friday to 1pm Friday - everyone should be here at my place at 12:30pm Friday so we can get packed up and get outta here

Also, it's just come to my attention that this gay field we're going to DOESN'T accept credit cards - so you'll have to bring enough CASH (YES CASH I'M SAYING IT NOW CASH DON'T SHOW UP AT THE TOURNAMENT GOING - HUH OH WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS CREDIT CARD LOL SORRY I CAN'T BUY A CASE OR I WILL GUT YOU LIKE A FISH)

Bring enough CASH to buy a case and a half of paint - so $90, I'm not sure which grade paint we'll go with yet anyway - depends how cold it is, I don't wanna be shooting ultra brittle tourney paint in -20 degree weather or nothin so we'll make that decision when we get there

Bring ALL your gear and fresh batteries for ALL of it - backups are your friend when things start breaking as the inevitably do at tournaments

So to reiterate once again here's what you bring:
- $90 CASH
- As much gear as you can carry + batteries for it all
- BuckID or your current Schedule
- something sexy to wear in the hotel room

Including drivers, rental van if necessary, hotels, and lineups

Alright guys - the meeting for GVSU will be held next Tuesday at my place (42 E 14th)

I'd like everyone to show up around 8pm or so new guys looking to get in there first tourney are also more than welcome, free pizzas are also welcome (Ryan ;))

Apart from travel arrangments and such we'll also be grabbing some club dues and jersey money, as well as discussing the trip to Diehard that Sunday (Oct 16th) to practice with a D2 team and a D3 team in PSP, both teams are top notch and a practice with them could really help prepare us for GVSU

So in short

First off - nice run at the ISU open, both teams Scarlet and Gray performed beyond expectations, especially Gray for sticking through an entire tourney playing a man down. I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of this season has in store for us.

Looks like the next stop for the OSU train will be the GVSU open on October 22nd so look out for details on that tourney coming up - there will be a meeting in the next week or so to work out the details.

Also, for anyone interested we're looking to schedule a practice with our newfound, burrito-scarfing, crazy baller buddies OU this coming weekend at a field in Dayton. Those interested should check the forums for details.
